Giving a Presentation – Cause and Effect

Sometimes it is necessary to give a presentation where you need to explain the reason behind a decision or situation. Or sometimes you made need to outline the effects of a recent decision. For situations like this you can use “cause-Effect” logic in your presentation. In the introduction of your presentation remember to state the purpose and the agenda of your presentation.

Here are some useful phrases for your introduction:
1. Purpose – I will be reviewing (effect) and then introduce some possible causes.
2. Agenda – First I will explain why (effect) due to 3 key reasons.

I will be reviewing BizTech’s recent income results. I will explain why BizTech’s net income decreased last year due to 3 key reasons.
