Successful Global Presentation Series 13: Remember IBC & structure

Successful Global Presentation Series 13:
Remember IBC & structure

Another TV network? No, it stands for Introduction, Body and Conclusion—the 3 building blocks of every presentation: from a 1-minute phone call to a co-worker in Hong Kong explaining the steps to install some software, to a 1-hour presentation to potential clients explaining the highlights of your company and its services. Keep in mind that about 10% of your time is on the ‘I’, 80% on ‘B’, and 10% on ‘C’. Remember the IBC format is just the start. You will also need to learn the basic formats for logically structuring your presentations (Topic, Problem-Solution, Persuasive, etc.). So next time remember: No IBC + No Structure = No Presentation!
