Successful Global Presentation Series 7:
Make it ‘ASAP’ (As Short As Possible)

Please. Please. Please. Please include only necessary details and avoid ‘Information Overload’. Remember, details tend to put people to sleep; but examples and stories tend to wake people up. So, try to connect your details and points to examples and stories. Compare: detail (‘The mobile phone is only 5 centimeters by 10 centimeters.’) versus detail + example (‘The mobile phone is only 5 centimeters by 10 centimeters so all of you could actually fit one into your front shirt pockets.’). Besides, if people really need more details than you have provided, then they can ask for them during your presentation or in the Q & A session!
